All Employers should train their staff in how to operate fire extinguishers and what to do should they discover a fire. We offer several different courses tailored to meet your needs and carried out at your premises.

The Basic Fire awareness course covers:

  • 1. Understanding the behaviour of fire.
  • 2. Actions to be taken in the event of a fire.
  • 3. Understanding the use and identifying the different types of fire extinguishers.
  • 4. Understanding the correct procedure for dealing with a fire in the workplace.

The Fire Marshals Course covers:

  • 1. Understanding the behaviour of fire.
  • 2. Actions to be taken in the event of a fire.
  • 3. Understanding the use and identifying the different types of fire extinguishers.
  • 4. Understanding the correct procedure for dealing with a fire in the workplace.
  • 5. The role of the fire marshal.

Both courses include a Certificate for each member of staff, hands on demonstration, DVD's and a test questionnaire.flames - fire

Hearing the fire alarm

Evacuate the building and do not stop to collect belongings. Ensuring that you shut doors behind you will help stop the spread of fire and smoke.  Once you are out of the building you must report to the designated assembly point.
